Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. The father of her Sergey (d. 2019.) was an Ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was founded in Minsk Belarus in May 1998. Aryna Sabalenka holds twelve WTA Singles titles. One of which was named 'Grand Slam' at the Australian Open 2023. Doubles is another aspect where she has a great record. This year's US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both achieved by Elise. Mertens. Additionally, she was able to complete an incredible Sunshine Double in 2019, winning both the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. Four women's teams were able to achieve this feat. In January 2023, she reached her highest ranking in singles. On 23rd August, 2021 she moved to the second spot in the ranking. After winning the Melbourne doubles competition in February of 2021 She was able rise up the rankings to take the first spot for this particular area. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach in 2018 until the season ended in 2019, as well as for a brief time at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was her coach for the period from August until September 2020. She is being trained by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova have been her biggest idols.
